On April, 9 Health Day was observed in Chernivtsi

Every year, on April 7 the World Health Day is observed. It aims to draw attention to major health care issues.

In Chernivtsi Health Day was carried out on April 9, 2010 at Taras Shevchenko Central Recreational Park.

City hospitals provided the following medical services to Chernivtsi citizens:

- Voluntary fluorography examination;

- Preventive examination of children and adult family members by dentists;

- Blood pressure measurement;

- Determination of blood sugar using blood glucose meters;

- Measurement of body weight and growth rate.

Among the events there were: sports, games, concert program and so on.

Chernivtsi citizens and visitors of the city were welcomed to join to the World Health Day.
