All the Pneumonia Sick Patients Receive Medicines Free of Charge

Under the conditions of epidemic, all the pneumonia sick citizens of Chernivtsi receive medical treatment only in hospitals. They get free of charge all amount of necessary medicines for medical care. All the medical establishments of the city without erosion are supplied with medicines for the budget costs. City Mayor Mykola Fedoruk warned the heads of the medical establishments about personal responsibility for providing the pneumonia sick people with complete course of treatment free of charge.
To improve technical supplying of the resuscitation departments it was decided to purchase four more oxygenators acutely needed for treatment of complicated pneumonias.
Besides, city extraordinary anti-epidemic commission charged the city administration of health care to apply to the Chief department of health care of the Regional State Administration with the offer to launch a department for treatment of pneumonias on the basis of the regional anti-tuberculosis dispensary where there is appropriate personnel and resource base. Aiming at detection of the patients with the symptoms of pneumonia or complicated influenza, it was decided to initiate household rounds in the city. Medical personnel of the city policlinics, postgraduate students, doctors-internees, clinical resident doctors of the Bukovynian State Medical University were drawn to the rounds.
