Three-Stage Control Is Established Over Functioning Of Emergency Teams

Automated control system “Ambulance” was introduced on emergency station in Chernivtsi. To this effect computer equipment software was purchased last year and head physicians of the shift, controllers, medical statistics, typing operators, in total all the staff of the operative-dispatch station was instructed. This was announced by the head physician of the city emergency station Ms. Lyubov Chovhan.
Automated control system “Ambulance” enables to minimize waste of time on receiving calls and their transferring to the rescue teams. Controller of the station and head physician of the shift have the opportunity to track the location of every team, control the time of arrival on the call, the time of residence on the call and hospitalization of patients.
During the analysis of the call maps patients with chronic pathologies who often use medical care services are tracked. This data is used for cooperation with the ambulatory and policlinic establishments of the city, and gives opportunity to the doctors of these establishments to implement medical and preventive measures to this category of patients.
In general the automated control system “Ambulance” provides three-stage control over functioning of emergency teams, considerably raises their efficiency and gives a substantial economy of fuels and lubricants.
According to Lyubov Chovhan, even the first results of operating with the new software have proven helpful to carry out a versatile analysis of functioning of emergency teams, every individual doctor, controller’s service altogether and to take adequate measures for improvement of quality of first aid to citizens of the city.
