Genoa Offers Partnership Relations to Chernivtsi

Chernivtsi City Mayor Mykola Fedoruk received delegation of Italy including Genoa Deputy Mayor Antonio Fabri and President of the Confederacy of Builders of Italy Karl Krest. The delegation resided in Chernivtsi by reason of disclosure of the Italian-Ukrainian medical-diagnostic laboratory LEONARDO. Entrepreneurs Alexander and Olga Grinyovs and their Italian partner Jean Franko Jentili were also present at the meeting. In Chernivtsi they’re implementing a joint medical-diagnostic project. Representatives of Italy expressed willingness to expand cooperation with Chernivtsi, in particular in the domain of building business, and Deputy Mayor of the city of Genoa offered to launch partnership relations between Chernivtsi and Genoa.
Mykola Fedoruk noted that Chernivtsi citizens, as pragmatic partners, are interested in constructive cooperation and realization of specific projects that are urgent for the city and its inhabitants and interesting for foreign investors. “Such projects will always find support and understanding from the side of the city authorities”, said Mykola Fedoruk.
Reference. Medical-diagnostic laboratory “Leonardo” was opened on December, 6. There is no analogue to it in Western Ukraine. The laboratory is able to perform more than 300 kinds of diverse analyses. It is equipped with the most modern American facilities. In realization of this medical-diagnostic project in Chernivtsi the Deputy Mayor of Genoa, the President of the Confederation of Builders of Italy, the Vice-President of the European Parliament and also the largest German private laboratory Labor Limbach became partners of entrepreneurs Alexander and Olga Grinyovs.
The laboratory “Leonardo” will fulfill in Chernivtsi a range of social programs for the population that foresee free of charge consultations by the Italian specialists and carrying out 10 % of the analyses free of charge. In particular, the laboratory will serve free of charge children-orphans, children with grave pathological deflections in development, disabled persons and those, who took part in the Second World War, poverty-stricken and single pensioners.
