In Chernivtsi a Place for Paul Celan Museum Is Searched
City Mayor Mykola Fedoruk charged Office of Economy of the City Council to find premises in the downtown for arrangement of Paul Celan museum. In case of necessity, the city is ready to settle out citizens with their consent from the suitable building.

Dear friends in Chernivtsi,
I hope that the projekt of a Celan-Museum will take place in the year 2010, because it is the year of two anniversaries of this world-famous son of Chernivtsi - 90th birthday and 40th anniversary of death. There was a close contact of Celan to Ingeborg bachmann the famous daughter of my home town Klagenfurt, which is a partner city of Chernivtsi. Prof. Dr. Peter Rychlo, who is one of the best professors in German language and literature in Eastern Europe, could be a good supporter of this project with perfect international contacts.
