Representatives from the Municipality of Lodz Brought Humanitarian Aid to Chernivtsi

Jan Witowski - secretary of the City Council of Lodz – brought to Chernivtsi humanitarian aid for people sick with acute respiratory virus and influenza. The Poles, having heard about the epidemic and great amount of sick people in Ukraine, decided to provide operative help to Lviv and Chernivtsi. Value of the medical equipment presented by the Polish colleagues to Ukrainian cities makes up EUR 14 thousand. President of the city of Lodz Jezy Kropiwnicki in his letter to Chernitsi City Mayor Mykola Fedoruk expressed disquietude about the epidemic situation in Ukraine and hope that help from the neighbors will contribute to the rapid recovery of Chernivtsi citizens.
